2015 was a busy year! We provided ministry services for all four series under the IndyCar banner. We experienced many God moments as we
saw His hand working within this community; in moments when we rejoiced and in moments when we mourned. It is this time of year that we reflect on the past, and with the recent changes, we look forward to the future.

We are excited for 2016 and the potential that lies ahead! We are here to bring the hope of Christ to the IndyCar community. We are here to serve and support them by being present in their lives on and off the track. We are humbled and honored to have this responsibility. The following Bible verse does a great job of summing up our ministry focus as we resolutely move forward into 2016.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 tells us to “Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” This verse is rich and applicable to IndyCar Ministry every day!

We are joyful… We are joyful about the opportunity to serve the IndyCar community by bringing the message of hope that Jesus Christ provides. We are humbled that God has placed us here.

We have been praying… The ministry board, myself, and scores of volunteers have been praying specifically for God’s direction for this (His) ministry. We are praying expectantly. We ask that you join us in prayer.

Give thanks in all circumstances… How is this possible? Notice it says IN all circumstances, not FOR all circumstances. This makes it easy to thank God knowing that He is in control and His timing is perfect. This is how we can have hope and give thanks continually. We are thankful to God for all of you who make this ministry possible through your donations and continued prayers and for the IndyCar community and all the special people that make up these series. And we are most thankful for Jesus Christ and what He did for us on that cross.

We are striving to do God’s will in 2016… As we pray, we are seeking God’s plan and God’s will, not only for 2016, but in everything we do!
