2016 is off and running! We have had a number good and safe events. We will be heading to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway next! Chuck Lessick has provided additional chaplain coverage for the first three events and Jason Holt joined me in Barber. Chapel and Mass attendance has been great and we have had many meaningful times of individual conversations and prayer.

We are building relationships, sharing Christ, and developing disciples. We thank you for your continued financial and prayerful support!

Winning the Race Sermon Series

We are well into our “Running the Race” sermon series this year. We have focused on Hebrews 12:1-2 which says, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”

I love how it instructs us on HOW we are to run the race. This race we call life… with perseverance. The Greek meaning for that word is endurance, patience, and steadfastness. This race we are running is not a sprint, it is a marathon! We need to run it with patience knowing that God is in control and our trust and faith need to remain ‘steadfast’ in Him! God wants to draw alongside of you in this race we call life. He wants to encourage you and cheer you on toward the finish line so that you may finish and finish well. He will be there as you cross the line to say, “well done my good and faithful servant.

You can have the assurance of our heavenly Father running alongside you if you have put your trust and faith in Him and Him alone.
