Jason Holt – Andretti Autosport
As a born Hoosier, Jason was raised with a passion for Indiana’s rich dirt track and IndyCar history. Pursing his dream and passion for racing, Jason got his start as a driver at the age of 12 years old, behind the wheel of a go-kart. From there he climbed his way up the ladder to find himself owning and racing a sprint car for a decade. In addition to driving he was an accomplished motor sports fabricator, working for teams like Target Chip Ganassi and companies such as Howerton Race Products.
After 24 years behind the wheel, in 2012 God called him to hang up his helmet and join Christ’s calling for his life. Then in 2013, he walked away from his career as a fabricator and stepped into full time ministry. Jason is the Director of Assimilation for Connection Pointe Christian Church in Brownsburg, IN. Where he helps people get connected to Christ and each other, utilizing his heart for the lost. He is passionate about sharing Jesus and has a heart for making disciples, who make disciples. Jason and Kelly reside in Brownsburg, IN and have been married for 8 years. In 2016 they welcomed their first child, a little boy named Gideon.
Mike Daniels – Ganassi Racing
Mike is husband to wife Missy going on 13 years and father of two boys, 10 and 8 years old, and a daughter who is 4. They curently live in Lizton, IN. He is from Pittsboro went to Tri-west High School and graduated in 1996 then joined the Navy in 1997 and was active duty for four years as an Aircraft Electricians Mate. He went to a vocational school and became a licensed aircraft mechanic in 2002 and worked at Republic Airways for about a year and then Eagle Creek Aviation. During this time in the fall of 2004 he started feeling compelled to go to church and in the fall of 2005 the gospel was being preached at our church, Kingsway Christian Church and he was born again. In 2008 he went to work at Chip Ganassi racing as an electronics technician. In 2010 they left Kingsway Christian Church and became members of The Bible Church of Brownsburg where their family is in a Small Group and he teaches Sunday school to early elementary children. At the end of 2014 he started leading the group at Ganassi and God has used this to him and the people in the group dive deeper and deeper into His word. The believers at Ganassi have been faithful to the scripture in Hebrews 10: 24-25, “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
Chuck Lessick – Dallara IndyCar Factory (meets at Lino’s Coffee Shop)
Chuck brings a wide variety of experience to the table, but his most powerful experience is the radical change of focus he has had since he began to passionately follow Christ in 2013. Chuck believes the gospel message of grace is for everyone, not to be left in the church on Sunday, but pursued through our everyday lives and relationships. He is an enthusiastic volunteer both at his local church (Traders Point Christian Church in Whitestown, IN) as well as other Christian organizations. Chuck enjoys speaking about his faith, as well as encouraging others in their walk with God.
Matt Welty – Ed Carpenter Racing
Matt is Vice President at both FR International, a manufacturer and distributor of commercial decorative commercial door hardware with manufacturing located in Italy, and Unisource Wholesale, a wholesale distributor of door hardware and other products. Matt has been part of the door hardware and security industry for 35 years. He has attends Northview Church in Carmel, IN. He serves on the board of directors for Indycar Ministry and leads in one of the Indycar Ministry Winners Circle groups. Matt and his wife Val have two daughters, Lauren and Morgan.
Ryan Carrell – Rahal Letterman Racing
Ryan is the Lead Pastor and Founder of The Southeast Project. He is a husband to his wife Jill and a father to his two daughters, Emily and Margaret. Having graduated from Franklin Central in 1998, starting Southeast was all about coming home. This is also how Ryan feels about church. His desire is to create a place where people who feel disconnected from church can belong. Ryan’s biggest joy is when people discover that God never intended the focus to be on where we go when we die but instead what we do with our lives today and how we change our world for good.
David Storvick – Juncos Racing and Jay Motorsports (via Skype!)
David currently serves as the Director and Chaplain at IndyCar Ministry.
